ProACTIVE Remote Monitoring

KONTEK’s ProACTIVE Remote Monitoring provides a continuous real-time view into your A/V system for our support technicians and for your peace of mind, whether you are on-site or off. Configured in consultation with your network administrator, ProACTIVE allows us to anticipate failures before they occur and to remotely diagnose and correct many issues without physically visiting the site. It dramatically reduces downtime and accelerates repairs when they are needed. For existing A/V systems, ProACTIVE may require some component upgrades and implementation fees. Preventive Maintenance

Preventive Maintenance (PM) ensures that your A/V system is at full functionality. During a scheduled PM visit, performed twice a year, our certified technicians will do the following:

  • Test every source, push every button and confirm all modes of operation. We make sure every element of your system is responsive, reliable and ready to use.

  • Document projector hours and check calibration. There is nothing worse than a fuzzy, blurry, off-color projector. We will make sure you see everything clearly and in full color.

  • Clean filters. Wow! Look at all that dust. Even new systems need regular cleaning to keep them from burning out. We do the dusting on a regular schedule to prolong the life of your equipment.

  • Verify and update firmware, as required. The only constant is change and we make sure your system is up-to-date so there are no surprises or errors that pop up when you least expect them.

  • Document any equipment found to have reached or is nearing the end of manufacturer support to recommend component upgrades. We help you plan for future needs so there are no unexpected surprises or budget busters.

  • We can also show you and your staff how to clean and sanitize your A/V equipment to prevent damage and to keep your employees safe.

Our support technicians are always available for COVID-19-related maintenance and repair. While your space is still empty and before people return, ensure your A/V equipment is functional and ready when you are. If your equipment needs repair, replacement or an upgrade, extended lead times can seriously impact the productivity of your teams as they return.
